Our friends, Bryan and Emily Bennett shared with us the wonderful effects of having an "Elf on the Shelf" in the house can bring. Apparently, this elf is a special scout for Santa Claus and will report when children misbehave or are observed doing good deeds. Every night, the elf leaves his perch and flies to the North Pole to give Santa his report, and when he returns that morning, he is in a different spot than he was before. Belle Bennett's behavior has apparently been wonderful with her elf "
Swiper" sitting on her shelf, so Bryan and Emily decided to spread the good cheer and gifted the Hart family with our very own elf. The girls named our elf "Buddy", I guess because they love the Will Ferrell movie, ELF! Below you will see Buddy perched on our shelf, ready to report
