The $200 Dog Bed

Our dogs, Fudge and Lady are part lab, part mystery and were given away in the United Supermarket parking lot two years ago. Even though they were FREE, they've more than made up for their cheapness through their consumption of food and not to mention everything freestanding in our back yard. I'm not a dog person. I'll pet dogs, and coo over how cute they are, but I will not allow one in the house and shudder to think of one in my bed. That is why Fudge and Lady are outdoor dogs all the way, and which is also why everything we own in the backyard looks like poo-poo. So when they turned the girls trampoline from Santa (last year) into their dog bed, Donnie and I were both ready to leave the back gate open and let the two numskulls explore the Wolfforth City Dog Pound. However, there are two members of our family that actually like the fur balls, and they boo-hooed when we were loudly discussing getting rid of the mutts. We didn't bother replacing the netting around the trampoline (I know, we are asking for a broken arm), because the idiots would chew that up, too. Fudge and Lady, however, love the improvements they made to the trampoline and use it as their dog bed. Isn't it lovely? The dogs ARE really good with the girls and let them lay all over them and bounce them around.
Sydni will lay on Fudge and sun with him. She usually smells just like him when she comes through the door, too. Double bonus!
Makki lounging with "Fudgey", as she affectionately refers to him. I have other endearing names for him, but most of the time, he's a sweetie.
