Halloween 2010!

The girls pick their costumes and we never know what we're gonna get! This year, we had the privilege of taking Fiona (from Shrek 3) and Neytiri (from Avatar) trick-or-treating.  I had to watch a how-to video to paint Sydni's face, but Makenzi's booger green face was pretty simple! We love our neighborhood and had a blast trucking around the Mesa in Granny and Pop's golf cart. It's the only way to score candy!
That green paint was all over me by the time I was finished! Doodle did a great job staying still and not complaining about the itchy paint.

Man, I didn't know how these outfits would turn out, but I loved the finished result!

Have you ever seen such a cute ogre!?

She looks good in blue!

I couldn't quit taking pictures of them!

Booger green never looked so good.

She whacked a few kids and parents with that dang spear!

She LOVED the rhinestones on her face. I was happy we pulled it off without me losing my mind. I really didn't know what I was doing!

Starting to get tired, but still ready to hit a few more houses for treats.

CANDY!!! All of their hard work paid off!

Fun at Six Flags

Bob & Deb decided that the girls need a "last hoo-rah" before the summer was officially over! They treated us to a weekend in Dallas, and our friends Jeff and Karla also came along to join in on the fun!  We went to the Fort Worth Zoo, toured the Dallas Cowboys Stadium (a.k.a. Jerry's World), and had BLAST at Six Flags!  Sydni and Makenzi were FEARLESS, riding every roller coaster they were tall enough to ride (they could ride four of the six roller coasters). The weather was PERFECT and the lines were SHORT, making the day at Six Flags a memorable and fantastic trip for all!

First Day of School 2010!

We've had a sort of tradition around the Hart Household the past two years, and we couldn't let this year slip by without taking a few rushed pictures in front of the house to commemorate the start of school.  Sydni and Mak were sporting the 80's rocker girl look, and were SO ADORABLE for their first day.
